Star Wars is currently on top with its premiere western-based series The Mandalorian, which has been a trailblazing show for the fanbase of the popular franchise. Instead of following the plot of the mainline films, this show picks a time period between the movies and follows a character who is far removed from the main overarching plot. The Book of Boba Fett took a character from the main films and gave him his own isolated storyline that doesn’t have much to do with the films.

Andor, on the other hand, will focus on Diego Luna’s character from Rogue One. A lot of the big surprises in The Mandalorian really hit hard because of how little people expected them to happen. That’s the best part of storytelling across any form of media - the surprises. It’s always good to see a surprise cameo or a shocking twist ending happen in peoples’ favorite show or movie. Regardless of what they show, for those who want to watch it and for those who want to avoid it, the celebration is on May 26, 2022.
Disney is very good at hiding things from its fans. The people who watch their content are very familiar with Disney hiding a lot of surprises until the very last minute. Andor will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus.
