Ruiz is now 33-1 and is the first heavyweight champion of Mexican descent, something one very famous Mexican boxer noted.
Jarrell Miller “Big Baby” was supposed to be Joshua’s opponent but he failed multiple drug tests, which allowed Ruiz to sign for the fight on short notice.
